Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp has been officially removed from the team’s injury report and is ready to play in Sunday’s Week 3 matchup against the Washington Commanders on September 27, 2026.
Kupp spent the early part of the week managing a back issue that limited his practice participation. Despite the minor setback, he returned as a full participant during Thursday’s session. Although his workload was managed with limited participation again on Friday, September 25, the veteran wide receiver avoided carrying any game designation into the weekend.
His clearance provides a timely boost to the Seattle offense, arriving alongside the return of quarterback Sam Darnold. Darnold missed the team’s Week 2 victory due to a glute injury but has also been fully cleared to start under center against Washington.
While Kupp has experienced a quieter start to the season-recording four receptions for 55 yards through the first two games-his presence on the field restores full depth to the Seahawks’ passing attack as they head into Sunday’s game.
