Through the first two games of the 2026 NFL season, Wilson has firmly established himself as Arizona’s primary perimeter wide receiver. He has outpaced both struggling teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. and veteran Kendrick Bourne in route participation and target share, pulling in exactly seven targets in each of his first two outings.
However, his actual fantasy production has swung wildly from week to week:
- Week 1 vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Caught 5 of 7 targets for 56 yards (10.6 fantasy points) in a 26-14 victory.

Experts recommending a cautious approach point to several limiting factors in the Cardinals’ offense. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett managed only 95 passing yards against Seattle’s tough secondary in Week 2, and tight end Trey McBride commands a heavy target share that often caps Wilson’s scoring ceiling. On the other side of the debate, optimists believe Wilson is a strong bounce-back candidate. Wilson has historically fared well against San Francisco. In five career games against the 49ers, he has averaged 5.6 catches for 68.8 receiving yards with two touchdowns, highlighted by a 15-catch, 185-yard performance against them last November.
