Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins has caught the attention of the sports and entertainment worlds alike by revealing an unexpected childhood celebrity crush.
Following a team practice session during the opening weeks of the 2026 NFL regular season in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 38-year-old veteran quarterback sat down with Raiders digital reporter Levi Edwards. During their conversation, Cousins was asked to name his childhood celebrity crush, prompting a response he predicted would shock fans.
“I have the absolute left-field one for you. I bet Raiders Nation wouldn’t guess it in a thousand years,” Cousins shared in a video clip posted to the social media platform X. He then named actress Meagan Good, specifically pointing out her role as Beautifull in the 2004 dance film You Got Served.
Good’s extensive acting career includes notable appearances in several films and television series, such as:
- Eve’s Bayou
- Stomp the Yard
- Anchorman 2
- The Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter
- The television drama Deception
Reactions from Raiders fans on social media were largely amused and positive. One user posted a photo of Good from her You Got Served era with the caption, “Kirko knows ball,” while another shared a GIF of former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens defending Tony Romo during a famous 2008 news conference with the caption, “That’s my quarterback.”
While Cousins fondly reminisced about his past fandom, both he and Good are happily settled in their respective personal lives. Cousins has been married to his wife, Julie Hampton, for 14 years, and the couple shares two children. Good married actor Jonathan Majors on March 18, 2025.
Off-field trivia aside, Cousins has more pressing matters to focus on. Off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2021, the Raiders are preparing for a Week 3 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Cousins has played exceptionally well through the opening two games, throwing for 413 yards and six touchdowns while helping guide rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza.
