The Los Angeles Rams officially ruled wide receiver Puka Nacua inactive ahead of their Week 3 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Denver Broncos in the 2026 NFL season. Team officials confirmed that the All-Pro receiver continues to manage a groin issue that is impacting his explosiveness on the field.
Rams management opted for a cautious approach to prevent any further injury, marking Nacua’s second consecutive missed contest following his absence in Week 2 against the New York Giants. Team medical personnel do not view the ailment as a long-term problem, leaving open the possibility of a Week 4 return against the Philadelphia Eagles.
With the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year sidelined, Los Angeles will continue to rely heavily on veteran wide receiver Davante Adams to lead the receiving core. Adams registered a massive performance in the previous week’s victory over the Giants, hauling in eight receptions for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Aside from Nacua, the Rams also listed six other players as inactive for the primetime showdown in Denver:
