The National Lottery has officially selected the winning numbers for its Set for Life draw on Monday, October 5, 2026. One lucky participant now holds the chance to secure a life-changing prize of £10,000 every month for 30 years, totaling a massive £3.6 million jackpot.
The official winning numbers drawn at 8:00 p.m. were 7, 9, 15, 35, and 47, alongside the crucial Life Ball number 4. Players who matched all five main numbers plus the Life Ball have secured the game’s top prize. This prize provides financial freedom over three decades to clear debts, travel, or support personal endeavors.
How the Set for Life Game Works
Set for Life is a unique National Lottery annuity game. It offers long-term financial security rather than a single lump-sum payout. Understanding the mechanics and odds of the game helps participants track their tickets effectively after every draw.
- Draw Schedule: Draws take place twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m.
- Selection Format: Players choose five main numbers ranging from 1 to 47, plus one Life Ball ranging from 1 to 10. Alternatively, players can opt for a random Lucky Dip selection.
- Ticket Cost: Each play line costs £1.50, with options to purchase entries up to four weeks in advance.
Prize Tiers and Breakdown
Matching all main numbers and the Life Ball yields the top prize of £10,000 a month for 30 years. Set for Life also features multiple prize tiers for matching fewer numbers. For instance, matching all five main numbers without the Life Ball awards £10,000 every month for one full year. Smaller prizes range down to matching just two main numbers.
Participants should check their physical tickets or digital accounts immediately following the draw. Winners have a set timeframe to claim their prizes. Verifying numbers through official National Lottery channels ensures accuracy and prompt payout processing.
