Entertainment memorabilia auction house Propstore has officially launched its highly anticipated James Bond Online Auction, giving collectors worldwide the chance to acquire a piece of cinematic history. Opening on October 6, 2026, the online-only event features an impressive catalog of 400 original items spanning every single film in the iconic 007 franchise. Interested bidders can browse and submit offers directly through Propstore’s official website until bidding closes on October 27, 2026.
Headlining Lots and Pre-Sale Estimates
The auction brings together an extensive array of original costumes, rare posters, production books, and unique collectibles. Leading the charge are several top-tier items sharing the highest pre-sale estimate of the event, projected between $27,000 and $53,000 (£20,000 to £40,000).
Among the marquee apparel is the two-piece grey Tom Ford suit worn by Daniel Craig during the 2012 blockbuster Skyfall. Custom-made for the production, this suit was famously featured during the film’s opening chase sequence through Istanbul, where Bond pursues the villain Patrice across rooftops and onto a moving train. The lot comes complete with a matching Tom Ford shirt, tie, and cufflinks.
Sharing the top tier of estimates is the striking dress and sandals worn by Ana de Armas as CIA agent Paloma in No Time to Die (2021). The ensemble is recognizable from her action-packed sequences during Bond’s mission in Cuba.
For literary enthusiasts, the auction also features a complete 14-volume set of Jonathan Cape first-edition, first-impression Ian Fleming James Bond books. Rebound in custom leather slipcases, this rare collection is expected to fetch between $27,000 and $53,000.
Rare Posters and Production Memorabilia
Beyond the headlining wardrobe pieces, the 400-lot sale offers items from the earliest days of the franchise up through the modern era. Notable historical pieces include:
- Dr. No (1962): A British quad poster featuring Mitchell Hooks’ classic artwork of Sean Connery against a yellow background, estimated between $11,000 and $22,000 (£8,000 – £16,000).
- Octopussy (1983): An SFX model unit clapperboard utilized during the filming of intricate miniature-effects sequences, estimated between $6,000 and $11,000 (£4,000 – £8,000).
“Bond has meant something to generations of film fans, and I’ve loved curating this collection,” said Alastair McCrea, Director of Consignments at Propstore. “Reviewing and appraising the costumes, posters, books and production pieces has been a wonderful reminder of how much there is to discover across the films. With fans marking Bond Day this week, we’re excited to share the collection through Propstore.”
