Usher and Chris Brown have officially canceled four October stadium concerts scheduled as part of their co-headlining “The R&B Tour.” Organizers pointed to the health and well-being of the touring party and crew as the primary reason for the sudden schedule adjustments, which affect fans in Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbia, and Indianapolis.
The affected stadium dates include performances originally set for October 17 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, October 24 at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, October 29 at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina, and October 31 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Ticketmaster confirmed the cancellations, notifying affected ticketholders that automatic refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment.
Impacted Cities and Tour Expansion Background
The four canceled concerts were newly introduced markets added during a major tour expansion in August. Promoters originally expanded the schedule by eight stadium dates due to high fan demand following a strong opening run, pushing the total itinerary to 59 performances.
While the four newly added markets have been removed, other dates added during the August expansion-such as additional shows in established markets like East Rutherford, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Miami-remain on the calendar. Prior to the alterations, the tour achieved significant commercial milestones. It sold more than 566,000 tickets across its first 13 concerts and generated upwards of $101 million in grosses from its opening eight shows.

Official Statements and Logistics
In a public statement released by Lucas Oil Stadium, venue officials explained that the event promoter made this choice following a sequence of sold-out stadium performances. Organizers emphasized that the changes were necessary to maintain safety standards across the remainder of the schedule.
The demands of a tour of this length and scale are significant, and these adjustments will allow the tour to continue safely and sustainably through the remaining scheduled performances.
Venue representatives and ticketing platforms clarified that tickets transferred between fans will result in refunds going directly back to the original purchaser. Processing times are estimated between 14 to 21 days depending on banking institutions.
Remaining Tour Schedule
Despite the cancellation of the four October stadium stops, organizers confirmed that the rest of “The R&B Tour” is moving forward. Upcoming dates feature a massive five-show engagement at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium from November 5 through November 11, followed by scheduled performances in cities including Los Angeles, New Orleans, Houston, Miami, and Tampa through December. No replacement dates have been announced for Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbia, or Indianapolis.
