October 6, 2026 3 min read 0 comments

Twelve celebrity couples will hit the ballroom on Tuesday, October 6, for a star-studded Mariah Carey Night during Week 4 of Dancing With the Stars Season 35. The two-hour episode airs live at 8 p.m. ET. It will simulcast across ABC and Disney+ and stream the next day on Hulu.

The remaining contestant pairs will dance to legendary tracks by the iconic singer-songwriter. This follows the elimination of pop-rock singer Taylor Hanson and his professional partner Britt Stewart in Week 3. Hanson and Stewart went home after performing a foxtrot to “What a Fool Believes” by The Doobie Brothers during Yacht Rock Night, which earned them 18 out of 30 points.

Week 4 Song Choices and Dance Styles

The official lineup of songs and dance styles for Mariah Carey Night was announced by former contestant Andy Richter during an episode of the Dancing With the Stars Official Podcast. The full pairings taking to the floor include:

  • Amber Glenn & Pasha Pashkov: Rumba to “Hero”
  • Ciara Miller & Brandon Armstrong: Jazz to “Emotions”
  • Connor Wood & Rylee Arnold: Rumba to “Touch My Body”
  • Ezra Frech & Daniella Karagach: Rumba to “Anytime You Need a Friend”
  • Guillermo Rodriguez & Witney Carson: Samba to “Obsessed”
  • Harry Shum Jr. & Jenna Johnson: Tango to “It’s Like That” (featuring Jermaine Dupri and Fatman Scoop)
  • Jackson Olson & Emma Slater: Waltz to “Without You”
  • Jenna Dewan & Val Chmerkovskiy: Rumba to “My All”
  • Julia Stiles & Ezra Sosa: Viennese Waltz to “Vision of Love”
  • Maura Higgins & Mark Ballas: Waltz to “If It’s Over”
  • Tatyana Ali & Jan Ravnik: Waltz to “Fantasy”
  • Tyler Cameron & Sharna Burgess: Foxtrot to “#Beautiful” (featuring Miguel)

In addition to the main competition routines, the themed night will feature pro and troupe performances set to Mariah Carey hits like “Heartbreaker,” “Loverboy,” and “Always Be My Baby.”

Rehearsal Challenges and Competition Stakes

As the competition heats up, couples are adjusting to rigorous routines that challenge both technique and physical endurance. Paralympic gold medalist Ezra Frech and his professional partner Daniella Karagach will perform a rumba to “Anytime You Need a Friend.” Frech noted ahead of the broadcast that the slower, more deliberate nature of the rumba presents unique physical challenges in the rehearsal studio.

Viewer votes submitted live during the broadcast will combine with scores from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. This will determine which couple faces potential elimination at the end of the night. Fans across the U.S. and Canada can vote online at dwtsvote.abc.com. SMS voting options are also available for eligible U.S. wireless carriers.
