Country music star Chris Stapleton has postponed three upcoming stops on his All-American Road Show Tour after contracting the flu. The affected schedule includes a performance in Lincoln, Nebraska, along with two shows in Kansas City, marking the intended conclusion of his extensive five-month tour.

The sudden schedule change impacts the final stretch of the artist’s current run. Under the updated calendar, both Kansas City performances have been rescheduled to October 14 and October 15. Meanwhile, the Lincoln concert has been moved to October 26. Organizers have confirmed that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the newly announced dates.

Artist Issues Personal Apology to Fans

Stapleton addressed the postponement directly through a statement shared with his fans online, expressing regret over the abrupt disruption to the concert schedule.

To all my friends in Lincoln and Kansas City, I am very sorry to let you know that I am battling the flu and am unable to perform this week’s shows. I want to sincerely thank everyone who made plans to attend, and apologize for this inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Navigating Recent Health and Logistics Disruptions

Health-related schedule adjustments have occasionally impacted the tour. Earlier in the touring cycle, Stapleton faced separate logistical challenges when critical tour production equipment was damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville, South Carolina, forcing a brief two-day delay to the start of that run.

Despite these interruptions, the country megastar maintains a packed schedule. Alongside his ongoing touring commitments, Stapleton remains a prominent fixture in the genre, earning a nomination for Entertainer of the Year at the upcoming 2025 CMA Awards airing live on ABC.

Ticketing and Refund Information

Fans holding tickets for the postponed October dates are encouraged to retain their passes, as they will remain fully valid for the rescheduled October 14, October 15, and October 26 dates. Those unable to attend the rescheduled performances can seek further assistance through their original point of purchase.
