Checking Your Lottery Tickets in Oregon
The Oregon Lottery reminds participants that numbers published online or reported through news outlets are unofficial. Players seeking official confirmation of a winning ticket must validate their slips through an authorized Oregon Lottery retail sales terminal or directly at an official lottery office, as outlined under state administrative rules (OAR 177-070-0035).
Lottery officials emphasize that games of chance should be played for entertainment rather than as an investment strategy. Odds, prize structures, and payout amounts vary across different games offered throughout the state.
