Filmmaker Benny Safdie has expanded the cast of his upcoming feature film adaptation of Lizard Music by adding four prominent actors. Colman Domingo, Rachel McAdams, Jeff Goldblum, and David Krumholtz have joined the hybrid live-action and computer-generated imagery feature, according to reports from Deadline.
The high-profile movie, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists, is currently in production and targets a theatrical release in 2027. Individual character assignments for Domingo, McAdams, Goldblum, and Krumholtz have not yet been publicly disclosed.
The new quartet joins an already star-studded ensemble. The film previously confirmed the casting of Dwayne Johnson, newcomer Theo Leber, Alicia Silverstone, Regina Hall, Tim Heidecker, Arya Parvathi, and Andrew Dice Clay.
Adapted from Daniel Pinkwater’s 1976 Novel

Driven by curiosity, the boy investigates the mysterious broadcast. He eventually encounters the eccentric Chicken Man, played by Dwayne Johnson, alongside his 111-year-old chicken companion, Claudia. Their journey ultimately leads to the discovery of a hidden society.
