The Buffalo Bills received a major offensive boost ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, with wide receivers DJ Moore and Keon Coleman officially active for the game at Highmark Stadium.
Both key playmakers entered the weekend listed as true game-time decisions due to recent injuries. Moore dealt with a shoulder issue stemming from Week 2, while Coleman managed an ankle injury sustained during the team’s Thursday Night Football victory over the Detroit Lions. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL insider Cameron Wolfe reported their active status on Sunday morning.
Despite the uncertainty earlier in the week, both wideouts expressed confidence in their ability to take the field. Moore participated in mid-week practices and noted feeling positive about his recovery.
“I felt great,” Moore said earlier in the week. “We still gotta go through some things, but we gonna be good.”
Coleman is returning after stepping up significantly when Moore left the field in Week 2, securing six receptions for 63 yards in the 41-31 win against Detroit.
While the offense gains its primary targets back, Buffalo’s inactive list for Week 3 includes:
- Jordan Hancock (hamstring / injured reserve)
- T.J. Sanders (appendectomy)
- Skyler Bell (receiver)
- Mike Danna (defensive end)
- Jalon Kilgore (safety)
- Ar’maj Reed-Adams (offensive lineman)
- Jude Bowry (offensive lineman)
The undefeated Bills enter the contest averaging 38.5 points per game, while the Chargers look to turn things around after starting the season 0-2. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
