ComplexCon launched its landmark 10th-anniversary event in Los Angeles on October 3-4, 2026. This marked its local debut across the Los Angeles Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena. Following a successful two-year run in Las Vegas that drew over 70,000 attendees in 2025, the boundary-pushing festival brought its immersive celebration of style, sneakers, music, art, and innovation to California’s creative capital.
Creative Leadership and Artistic Direction
At the center of the 2026 anniversary edition, rapper Playboi Carti joined legendary streetwear pioneer Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design as official Artistic Directors. The duo guided the creative vision across product releases, live programming, and festival experiences, bridging two distinct generations of cultural influence.
Fujiwara, widely recognized as the godfather of the streetwear movement and a founding force of Tokyo’s Ura-Harajuku scene, debuted an exclusive collection of collaborations. These spanned apparel, collectibles, wearables, and food. Official collaborative partners for the milestone event included Disney/Mickey Mouse, Pokémon, Los Angeles Dodgers, Weekend by Sequel, Ray-Ban, Street Fighter, BRABUS, and BE@RBRICK.
00pium Takeover and Crypto.com Arena Concerts
The weekend featured a full-scale 00pium takeover of the L.A. LIVE campus. This was anchored by two nights of high-profile headlining performances at Crypto.com Arena:
- Saturday, October 3: Ken Carson headlined the arena, supported by HXG and ApolloRed1.
- Sunday, October 4: Playboi Carti closed out the festival with a headline set alongside Destroy Lonely and F1lthy.
The takeover also extended directly onto the ComplexCon show floor. Artist-led booths and immersive environments gave fans access to exclusive product drops and talent appearances from major figures. These included Lil Yachty, Travis Barker, Young Thug, Quavo, North West, Westside Gunn, NBA YoungBoy, LISA’s LLOUD, and the Wu-Tang Clan.
Marketplace, ThriftCon, and Family Style Food Festival
More than 300 global brands and creative innovators occupied over half a million square feet of exhibition space at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Featured marketplace participants included Nike, Fear of God, Gallery Dept., Warren Lotus, Sp5der, VIVET, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream, Jae Tips, New Era, Palm Angels, Vans, Hellstar, and Timberland.
For the first time in festival history, ComplexCon integrated major cultural sub-events directly into the grounds:
- ThriftCon Live: Taking over a 100,000-square-foot exhibition hall, ThriftCon featured over 100 carefully curated vintage dealers showcasing rare archival streetwear, vintage apparel, jewelry, and retro collectibles.
- Family Style Food Festival: This paired over 30 leading restaurants and chefs with streetwear brands for exclusive culinary collaborations. Highlights included Pizzeria Sei x Fragment Design, Majordōmo, Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee, Sandoitchi, and The Boiling Crab.
ComplexCon(versations) and Live Panel Series
The live discussion stage returned with prominent cultural figures debating the moments, products, and trends shaping the year. Key highlights of the 2026 programming included:
- LIVE “Sneaker Shopping”: Host Joe La Puma was joined by WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes on the show floor.
- “Album of the Year: LIVE”: Jordan Rose led a debate alongside French Montana, DJ Akademiks, and Adam22.
