Recent social media activity and photographs from a television set have sparked widespread speculation that actress Elizabeth Hurley and country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus might be engaged. The rumors began circulating in mid-October 2026 after fans noticed a large diamond ring on Hurley’s hand alongside cryptic posts shared by Cyrus.
Speculation intensified when Hurley shared behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of Season 2 of the television series The ‘Burbs. Published on October 12, 2026, the images featured the actress posing on her first day of production for the Peac**k and Imagine Entertainment project. In a mirror selfie included in the post, a prominent diamond ring was clearly visible on her left ring finger, though another accompanying photo showed the jewelry turned inward.
Despite the high visibility of the ring, Hurley’s official caption did not address the jewelry or the engagement rumors. Instead, she focused entirely on her professional endeavors, writing, “Day 1 on set #TheBurbs 🎬❤️ @Peac**k @ImagineEntertainment.” Outlets including Fox News and Yahoo subsequently highlighted the ring in reports covering her production updates.
Social Media Fuel and Lack of Confirmation
Adding momentum to the ongoing rumors, Billy Ray Cyrus shared a cryptic social media message on October 15, 2026. While the post did not explicitly mention Hurley or reference a relationship status, fans and media commentators quickly linked the timing of the message to the discussions surrounding the diamond ring.
To date, neither Elizabeth Hurley nor Billy Ray Cyrus has officially confirmed or denied the engagement rumors. Representatives for both public figures have not released any statements addressing the speculation surrounding the ring or their relationship.
