Accent Aigu Entertainment (AAE) co-founders and executive producers Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady officially launched the Irina Foundation on September 29, 2026. The private independent fund is dedicated to championing inclusivity, mental well-being, and resilience through organized sports and arts programs, with a primary focus on LGBTQIA2S+ and underserved communities.
The newly formed foundation draws its name and core philosophy directly from Rachel Reid’s popular Game Changers book series. In the underlying narrative, main characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov establish a charitable foundation named in honor of Ilya’s late mother, Irina, who battled mental health challenges. By bringing this element into the real world, the producers aim to channel the deep affection fans hold for the franchise into tangible, community-level support.

According to official statements from Accent Aigu Entertainment, the Irina Foundation will identify and support established nonprofit organizations that deliver existing, qualifying arts and sports programs.
