British singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock has released her new single, “Clickbait,” alongside an announcement for an expanded edition of her debut solo album. Titled My Ego Told Me To…Do A Fan Edition, the upcoming project is scheduled for release on October 30 through MadeInThe90s.

The new release follows the commercial success of her debut solo record, My Ego Told Me To, which reached No. 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart and topped the UK Independent Albums Chart. The original project made Leigh-Anne the first Black British girl group member to achieve a top-three solo album.

The expanded collection will feature all 15 tracks from the original album alongside seven additional songs. Among the new additions are two brand-new tracks, “Clickbait” and “Bora Bora.”

The tracklist also pulls together previously issued material, digital exclusives, and collaborations. Notable additions include standalone singles like “Friends” featuring Rvssian, alongside “Dead and Gone Part II” featuring Kojey Radical, “Ego,” “Home,” and an acoustic version of “Been a Minute.”

Speaking about the inspiration behind her new single, Leigh-Anne explained that the track addresses public scrutiny and online commentary.

This record is a reflection of exactly how I felt the day I walked into the studio with Trey Campbell, M-Phazes and Bava. I was tired, heavy and honestly just bogged down by everyone’s opinions and the feeling that, online, everybody seems to have something to say about you. So CLICKBAIT is my little clapback to the trolls that always have so much to say.

Regarding the deluxe album announcement, Leigh-Anne added that the project serves as a gesture of appreciation for her supporters before she transitions into her next musical chapter.

Television Appearances and Timing

The album announcement coincides with Leigh-Anne’s current television appearance as a contestant on the BBC reality series Celebrity Traitors. The show airs weekly on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. With the album release scheduled for October 30-the same day as the program’s scheduled finale-viewers have engaged in ongoing speculation about whether the singer remains in the competition through its final episode, though the release date itself does not confirm her placement.

Since launching her solo career following her time with Little Mix, Leigh-Anne has accumulated over 120 million global streams, secured two UK Top 40 singles, completed a sold-out tour across the UK and Ireland, and released an accompanying short film directed by Garfield Clairmonte.
