MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – Local law enforcement and major crimes detectives have launched an active death investigation following the discovery of a deceased woman inside a residential unit at the Northwoods Apartments on Town Colony Drive.
The Middletown Police Department and personnel from the Westfield Fire Department were dispatched to the complex at approximately 3:23 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Emergency responders arrived following reports of an unresponsive woman inside her apartment. They located the victim and declared the area an active crime scene.
