Nicole Scherzinger powered through the P***ycat Dolls’ PCD Forever Tour despite suffering a painful boiling water injury just an hour before taking the stage in Dusseldorf, Germany. The 48-year-old singer sustained burns to her lower body backstage on September 26, but chose to proceed with the scheduled performance.

The Backstage Accident in Dusseldorf

The incident occurred about 60 minutes before Scherzinger was due to perform at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf. Boiling water spilled onto her leg, resulting in severe skin blistering and deep redness on her inner thigh and lower leg.

Addressing her fans on social media shortly after the mishap, Scherzinger shared a glimpse of the damage on her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set. But the show must go on.” She also expressed gratitude to the audience, adding, “Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going.”

Sharing the Painful Aftermath with Fans

Weeks after the accident, on October 6, Scherzinger gave followers a more detailed look at the recovery process. She posted a series of six photos contrasting her glamorous stage appearances with raw, unedited images of the healing burns and blisters. She captioned the update, “What they see vs. what they don’t see…”

Despite the injury, the singer did not miss a beat on the international leg of her tour. She appeared in Newcastle on Friday evening alongside bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, proving her commitment to the group’s ongoing reunion.

The PCD Forever Tour Journey

The PCD Forever Tour marks a major chapter for the P***ycat Dolls, bringing the group back to international stages nearly 20 years after their original debut. The current lineup features Scherzinger, Roberts, and Wyatt performing across Europe.

While the European dates have continued through October-including stops in Warsaw, Poland, and Amsterdam-the tour has faced logistical adjustments. Earlier in the year, the group canceled the majority of their planned North American dates following slow ticket sales.

Nevertheless, Scherzinger has maintained a resilient spirit throughout the journey. She balances rigorous live performances with personal milestones on the road, including traveling alongside her fiancé, former Scottish rugby player Thom Evans.
