Watch Dis arrives on October 23. According to Pitchfork, the 20-track project features a guest list that includes Quavo, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Shenseea, Vybz Kartel, and more. To kick off the rollout, Yung Miami is dropping a double single featuring “2008” and “F U” at midnight.
Explaining her decision to drop two tracks simultaneously, the 305 native stated: “I could’ve come back with one song and played it safe, but why? I’m confident in what I made. I’m back to pop my sh*t and I want everybody to watch dis.”
Taking to X to share her enthusiasm, she added: “I’m so so so excited about this album. It’s a great body of work and I’m so f*cking proud. I can’t wait for yall to hear.”
From Viral Success to Debut Solo LP
The album rollout follows the success of her summer anthem “Spend Dat.” In June, following the track’s viral momentum, Miami confirmed at the BET Awards that her debut solo album was on the way. What was then an untitled project with a summer window now has a definitive title, official cover art, release date, and a high-energy rollout.
The project’s title marks a creative pivot from an earlier working title, Yams, which Miami scrapped after deciding it no longer reflected her artistic direction. Following the final season of her Caresha Please podcast and the 2023 RAW album with City Girls partner JT, Watch Dis stands as her defining solo statement.
