Verify & Continue ReadingThe show is a gender-swapped adaptation based on the novel The Price You Pay by Nick Harkaway, who writes under the pseudonym Aidan Truhen. Zeta-Jones stars as Jackie Price. Jackie spent 20 years living a quiet, luxurious life selling fine art and using tax loopholes after escaping a dangerous past as an international criminal dealer. Her anonymous life ends abruptly when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of elite hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Instead of surrendering, Jackie unleashes her dormant instincts and launches a counter-offensive to hunt down the assassins.

Production and Creative Team Behind Kill Jackie
The series features creative talent from dramas like Killing Eve and Gangs of London. Kill Jackie was co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth, Peter Lawson, and Damon Thomas. Butterworth serves as showrunner and writer, and Thomas is the lead director. Keane co-wrote the adaptation and acts as an associate producer. Peter Lawson and Lorenzo De Maio managed U.S. sales for Steel Springs Pictures and De Maio Entertainment.
Steel Springs Pictures and Fremantle co-produce the project, with Fremantle handling international distribution outside the United States. Zeta-Jones serves as an executive producer alongside Lawson, Jose Agustin Valdes, Rebecca Dundon, Dante Di Loreto, and Jeffrey Levine. Nick Harkaway is an executive consultant, and José Luis Escolar’s Deabru Kalea Filmeak supervised physical production in Bizkaia, Spain.
