Fans of Chris Pratt’s hit action-thriller series will get a chance to experience the upcoming episodes on the big screen before they arrive at home. Regal and Amazon MGM Studios have officially scheduled a special, one-night-only theater presentation for the debut of The Terminal List Season 2. The event will take place on October 20, 2026, bringing the opening episodes to approximately 75 Regal Premium Experience (RPX) locations across the United States just one day ahead of their official streaming release.
What to Expect from the Regal RPX Screening Event
The nationwide theatrical event offers viewers an elevated, immersive presentation of the spy thriller’s return. Regal’s exclusive RPX format is engineered to deliver a high-end cinematic environment featuring larger-than-average screens, enhanced laser projection systems, and state-of-the-art audio technology.
Additionally, select participating auditoriums will feature specialized haptic seating technology-such as Lumma’s Magnify 8 and ButtKicker systems-designed to generate synchronized physical vibrations that match the intense on-screen action sequences.
“Few things compare to seeing a favorite series on the big screen ahead of its worldwide debut,” said Brooks LeBoeuf, Senior Vice President of U.S. Content at Regal. “We are thrilled to partner with Amazon MGM Studios to bring The Terminal List fans together in RPX, where the scale of the screen and the power of the sound turn James Reece’s next mission into an experience made to be shared.”
How to Secure Tickets and Concession Vouchers
Access to the special October 20 screening requires the purchase of a $20 concession voucher. Tickets and vouchers can be secured through multiple channels:
- Select theater box offices and automated kiosks
- The official Regal mobile application
- The company’s website at REGmovies.com
The $20 voucher functions as a single-transaction credit that can be redeemed on the night of the event for food, drinks, and merchandise at participating theater concession stands, bars, and lounges. Any unused financial balance remaining on the voucher will be forfeited.
Plot Details and Season 2 Background
Season 2 of The Terminal List draws directly from True Believer, the bestselling second novel in author Jack Carr’s acclaimed book series. The storyline follows Navy SEAL James Reece (played by Chris Pratt) as he attempts to find a new purpose for his life after officially finishing his lethal list.
However, Reece’s brief respite is cut short when the CIA corners him, forcing him to clear his name by dismantling a resurgent organization that has successfully turned a former ally to their cause. The globe-spanning espionage narrative unfolds across a complex conspiracy stretching from Moscow to Langley, ultimately digging deep into Reece’s own family history.
Following the exclusive theatrical preview on October 20, all eight episodes of The Terminal List Season 2 will officially premiere worldwide on October 21, streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
