W Magazine officially introduced its new youth-focused sister publication, WYouth, to Hollywood with a high-profile launch party at the Saddle Ranch Chop House in West Hollywood, California, on October 15. The celebrity-filled event brought together major figures in fashion, music, and pop culture to mark the arrival of the print and digital brand, which debuted its inaugural issue on September 15.

The star-studded gathering was hosted by cover star and Rhode founder Hailey Bieber, alongside W Editor-in-Chief Sara Moonves and WYouth Editor Ava Nirui. Selected for its distinct Y2K aesthetic, the Western-themed venue on Sunset Boulevard featured a cheetah-print mechanical bull that became a central attraction for attendees throughout the evening.

Inside the Star-Studded Launch Event

The guest list featured a mix of prominent names from music, television, and digital media. The Haim sisters were among the first to arrive, with Alana Haim quickly taking a turn on the cheetah-print mechanical bull. Newlyweds Finneas and Claudia Sulewski attended hand in hand, while Paris Hilton arrived clutching a rhinestone flip phone to match the venue’s millennial nostalgia.

Other notable guests included Clairo, Benito Skinner, Paloma Elsesser, and Romy Mars, who released the single “The Rage” and wore a black-and-white lace mini dress. Actresses Odessa A’zion and Owen Thiele held court in a booth, while Hayes Warner and Graham Campbell of FX’s The Shards also made appearances.

Later in the night, music producer A.G. Cook took over the DJ booth, and collaborator Charli XCX joined him to keep the dance floor packed. Guests were treated to Jell-O shots, custom television displays featuring spreads from the inaugural issue, and interactive elements powered by Instants by Instagram.

Collaboration With Fendi and Luxury Partners

The celebration also served as a showcase for luxury house Fendi, which partnered on the event to highlight the re-edition of its Croissant bag-a smaller sister design to the brand’s iconic Baguette style. Fendi Chief Creative Officer Maria Grazia Chiuri traveled to Los Angeles for the rare appearance to celebrate the collaboration.

As the evening concluded, attendees received gift bags courtesy of Guerlain, containing Rouge G lipstick, the L’Heure Bleue fragrance, Fendi sunglasses, and a copy of the debut WYouth issue.

The Vision Behind WYouth

The concept for the publication originated from a suggestion by filmmaker Sofia Coppola, who texted Sara Moonves last year suggesting a teen version of W Magazine. Edited by Ava Nirui, the zine is published in print twice a year and maintains a dedicated digital section on W Magazine’s website.

Pronounced “Double Youth,” the magazine focuses on themes of connection, nostalgia, and contemporary culture. The inaugural September issue features Hailey and Justin Bieber on the cover, alongside interviews and contributions from Tyler, The Creator, Clairo, Chase Infiniti, Chloë Sevigny, and Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle reliving their Pen15 characters.
