Actor Bella Ramsey is stepping away from post-apocalyptic survival and entering the Scottish Highlands. They are part of the 21-person cast for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors. The hit reality competition show premieres on October 1 at 8 p.m., airing across BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Host Claudia Winkleman returns to oversee the game. She welcomes the participants to the castle where they will compete in deception, deduction, and betrayal. The contestants are playing for a charity prize pool of up to Β£100,000, which will accumulate based on their performance in a series of elaborate tasks.

Ramsey is known for critically acclaimed roles in The Last of Us and Game of Thrones. Madame Tussauds London Celebrates Ramsey’s Casting

Ahead of the official broadcast, Madame Tussauds London marked Ramsey’s entry into the reality series. The museum temporarily restyled their wax figure, dressing it in a replica of the show’s signature dark hooded Traitor cloak. They will maintain the display through the premiere date on October 1.

Broadcast Details and Format Changes

The first series featured winner Alan Carr and drew 15 million viewers as the UK’s most-watched television programme of 2025. Following this massive popularity, the BBC has expanded the format. Series two features two more contestants than last year, an extended 75-minute opening episode, and broadcasts across two nights each week on Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 p.m.

High-profile names like Michael Sheen, Maya Jama, and Richard E. Grant are joining Ramsey at the round table. Winkleman warned viewers that fame will offer no protection once the psychological games begin.
