The hit BBC reality competition series is set to premiere on October 1, 2026, at 8 p.m., broadcasting weekly episodes on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands, the 10-episode series features 21 prominent public figures attempting to identify secret Traitors hiding among them. Contestants are competing for a cash prize of up to Β£100,000 for a charity of their choice. Episodes will air twice weekly on Thursday and Friday evenings, accompanied by the official companion video podcast, Uncloaked.

Host Claudia Winkleman returns to lead the psychological game of deceit and betrayal. Speaking on her upcoming appearance, Jama opened up about how her personal life experiences with deception influenced her mindset entering the game, while addressing how viewers might perceive her away from her familiar hosting duties on Love Island and Netflix’s The Gentlemen.

Comedian Romesh Ranganathan recently described the immersive nature of the show, admitting that the reality of living inside the game far exceeded his initial expectations.

“I thought that it was faker than it is,” Ranganathan shared during an appearance on The One Show. “It is so immersive-I couldn’t believe it. You are in the game the whole time you’re in the game and that took me by surprise.”

With five comedians on the roster alongside seasoned dramatic actors, journalists, and pop stars, the dynamic inside Ardross Castle promises intense roundtables, dramatic banishments, and strategic gameplay under the cover of darkness.
