Award-winning British comedian and presenter Ed Gamble is officially returning to Amazon Prime Video with his brand-new comedy hour, Ed Gamble Live. The highly anticipated special will premiere globally on the platform on October 29.

Filmed in January 2025 at the Lowry Quays Theatre in Salford, this release marks Gamble’s second stand-up special for Prime Video. His previous platform release, Blood Sugar, came out in 2019.

What to Expect from Ed Gamble Live

According to Amazon Prime Video, the new special features material that Gamble developed on stage following the release of Blood Sugar. Known for his high-energy rants and self-deprecating humour, the comedian has teased fans about the edgy nature of the new material.

“I’m very excited to finally release this special into the world,” Gamble said. “Apologies to my friends, some of it is gross.”

Alongside his television and podcast work, Gamble has maintained a relentless live schedule. Following the filming of the special, he embarked on his largest sold-out world tour to date, performing across Europe, North America, and Australasia.

A Busy Schedule Across TV and Podcasts

Gamble remains a visible figure in British entertainment. He is the co-host of the chart-topping food podcast Off Menu alongside James Acaster. He is also a Taskmaster champion from Series 9 and currently hosts Taskmaster: The Podcast.

His recent broadcasting credits include hosting The Traitors/Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, which achieved massive viewing figures on BBC One, and presenting the TLC panel show Unacceptable.

Looking Ahead to 2027

Fans eager to see the comic live will not have to wait long. Gamble is set to head back out on the road in January 2027 with a new live tour titled Fresh Hell, which includes more than 60 dates across the UK and Ireland.

Ed Gamble Live will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video starting October 29.
