October 15, 2026 3 min read 0 comments

High street bakery chain Greggs has officially confirmed that its popular Festive Bake will return to stores across the United Kingdom on Thursday, October 22. The fan-favourite pastry is returning as part of the brand’s second wave of Christmas menu items, featuring an updated recipe for the season.

Priced at £2.50, the returning Festive Bake consists of cooked chicken, smoked ham hock, sweet cure bacon, and creamy soft cheese. These ingredients are combined with s**ced pork stuffing, sage and onion flavoring, and a rich sage and cranberry sauce. They are enclosed within golden puff pastry and finished with a crisp crumb topping.

What Else Is on the Greggs Christmas Menu?

Alongside the return of the Festive Bake, Greggs has unveiled several new savory items, sweet treats, and seasonal drinks for its holiday lineup. These additions provide a wide variety of choices for customers looking to get into the festive spirit early.

The savory selections feature the new Pigs Under Blankets Toastie, priced from £4.10. It includes smoked bacon, pork sausage, cheddar cheese, and a cranberry and red onion relish in sourdough-style white bread, topped with béchamel sauce and a cheese blend. Returning savory options include the Festive Feast Baguette from £4.10 and the Festive Flatbread from £3.75.

For pizza lovers, Greggs introduced the Pepperoni Pizza with Hot Honey from £2.70. This item features a focaccia-style base topped with cheese, pizza sauce, jalapeños, red onions, and a drizzle of sweet hot honey.

Sweet Treats and Seasonal Drinks

The bakery’s holiday pastry and dessert options bring several new items to counter the post-lunch slump:

  • Millionaire’s Doughnut (from £1.50): Filled with rich caramel, topped with salted caramel flavor icing, and finished with milk chocolate-coated shortcake biscuit pieces.
  • Double Chocolate Doughnut (from £1.40): Features a chocolate filling, chocolate flavor icing, and white and milk chocolate coatings.
  • White Chocolate Gingerbread Cookie (from £1.70): Includes white chocolate buttons, chocolate lentils, crystallized ginger, and caramel balls.

Hot and iced seasonal beverages joining the menu include the Hazelnut Crunch Latte and Salted Caramel Latte. Both start from £2.85 for hot versions and £3.35 for iced. Additionally, customers can try the Candy Cane Mint Hot Chocolate and Iced Candy Cane Mint Chocolate at £2.90, alongside the Candy Cane Mint Iced Matcha Latte from £3.60.

Availability and Delivery Options

The entire second wave of Christmas menu items, anchored by the Festive Bake, will be available in stores nationwide starting Thursday, October 22. Customers looking to skip the queue can order items using Click + Collect via the Greggs App, or choose delivery through external services such as Just Eat and Uber Eats.

The launch follows an initial drop of festive products earlier in October, which included the return of pigs in blankets in takeaway pots, the new Sweet Mince Pie Roll, traditional Sweet Mince Pies, and the Christmas Cake Slice.
