Kelce Brothers Launch Wedding Contest as Garage Beer Hits $200M

Garage Beer, the independent beverage company co-owned by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, has announced a high-profile tailgate wedding giveaway contest. This major consumer activation arrives as the rapidly growing light beer brand officially reaches a $200 million valuation following its first institutional round of fundraising.

The company announced via social media that it is searching for one lucky couple to get married live at a Garage Beer tailgate in Philadelphia. The unique ceremony will take place during a high-profile Monday Night Football matchup on October 26, 2026. Beyond the game-day backdrop, the winning couple will receive a $2,000 gift card for wedding rings and a $5,000 cash prize for their honeymoon.

Interested couples have until October 4, 2026, to submit entries online. Following the deadline, the winning couple will be selected entirely at random.

Fueling Growth Amid a Wider Industry Slump

The timing of the wedding contest coincides with a major financial milestone for the beverage brand. Garage Beer recently completed its inaugural institutional fundraising round, securing capital from the consumer-focused private-equity firm Durational Capital Management. This fresh injection of capital values the business at approximately $200 million.

According to CEO Andy Sauer, the independent beverage company is on track to record between $60 million and $70 million in revenue this year. This represents an explosive upward trajectory from less than $20 million in 2024, bolstered by the star power and marketing involvement of the Kelce brothers. The brand plans to use the funding to scale up its marketing footprint and expand distribution channels.

As part of the strategic investment deal, Bill Hackett, the former head of beer at Constellation Brands, will join Garage Beer’s board of directors to help guide its commercial expansion.

Garage Beer’s rapid ascension contrasts sharply with broader macroeconomic trends affecting the wider alcoholic beverage landscape. Across the industry, sales of traditional beer, wine, and spirits have suffered notable declines. Analysts attribute this slump to changing consumer habits, including younger adults shifting toward canned cocktails and THC-infused beverages, alongside health-conscious consumers cutting back on alcohol.

The rise of weight-loss medications like Ozempic and Wegovy has further accelerated this trend, with many users reporting a significant decrease in alcohol consumption. Major corporate players, such as Constellation Brands-which owns popular imports like Modelo and Corona-have been forced to slash annual earnings forecasts due to sluggish market demand.

In contrast, Garage Beer has carved out a thriving niche. By targeting health-conscious consumers with low-calorie, classic light beer options and lime-infused flavors, the brand has resonated with millennial and Gen Z demographics. The direct engagement style championed by Travis and Jason Kelce, who maintain an active hand in product development and promotional strategy, has further accelerated the brand’s cultural footprint.

Active Involvement from Travis and Jason Kelce

Unlike many celebrity endorsement deals where stars merely lend their names, the Kelce brothers remain embedded in the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of Garage Beer. Sauer highlighted that the brothers maintain an “always-on” relationship with the executive team, frequently joining calls to strategize about creative campaigns, product launches, and experiential events.

With massive media attention following the brothers-amplified by Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift-Garage Beer is leveraging its cultural momentum to cement itself as a dominant player in the competitive light beer sector.
