The Duchess of Suss*x, Meghan Markle, shared a rare glimpse into her domestic life on Tuesday, October 6, by featuring her five-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, in a new promotional home video. Released via Instagram, the clip celebrates the rollout of the holiday collection for Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever.

The video serves as a visual montage documenting the Duchess’s entrepreneurial journey. It blends vintage photographs of her childhood with candid modern footage of her cooking alongside young Lilibet. In the kitchen scene, Meghan monitors a pot of bubbling raspberry jam on the stove before turning the camera toward her daughter, who holds a wooden spoon and a mixing bowl.
“What do you think, Lily?” Meghan asks in the clip.
“I think it’s beautiful,” Princess Lilibet replies, giving viewers a rare opportunity to hear her voice.
A Reflection on Lifelong Entrepreneurship
The heartwarming video was accompanied by a reflective caption detailing the Duchess’s long history with small businesses. Meghan, 45, noted that her drive to create and sell goods began decades before launching As Ever in 2025.
“When I was about eight years old, I started my own business making handmade scrunchies I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece,” Meghan wrote. “I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yogurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.”
Later in the video, Lilibet makes another brief appearance as a spectator while her mother tends to a beehive in preparation for making honey. Donned in a miniature beekeeper’s suit near a tree, Lilibet watches safely from a distance as Meghan calls out to her.
The As Ever Holiday Collection Lineup
The timing of the video coincides with the official launch of “The Holiday Collection: Chapter One” under the taglines “Merriment in the Making.” The new festive rollout introduces an array of artisanal items designed for seasonal entertaining and gifting:
- Luxury Advent Calendar: Priced at $148 (£112), the 24-day calendar is shaped like the family’s former Montecito home and features California-inspired chocolates, fruit spreads, and flower sprinkles.
- Hostess Basket: A wicker basket packed with two scented candles, three signature jams, three herbal teas, and a pot of flower sprinkles.
- Chocolate Bars: Three distinct flavors including Ginger Lemon, Lavender Honey, and Hibiscus Rose.
- Parlour Card Set: The “Keepsake Double-Deck Parlour Card Set” featuring pale green packaging accented with a gold border and the brand’s palm tree and hummingbird logo.
While the Suss*x family relocated from California to the United Kingdom over the summer, As Ever products currently maintain shipping availability exclusively within the United States. Concluding her brand announcement, Meghan expressed profound gratitude for her support system and collaborative team.
“As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown, and as we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud, and grateful,” Meghan shared. “So proud of what we are creating together. Thanks for helping bring this vision to life.”
