Dwight Manfredi faces fresh criminal rivals and political opposition when Tulsa King returns for its fourth season on Paramount+ on October 16. Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as the New York mobster attempting to expand and legitimize his criminal operation in Oklahoma. Meanwhile, new characters and unexpected alliances complicate his plans.
The season introduces several potential adversaries, including crime boss English Dan, played by Richie Stephens, and tech billionaire Bradley Van Heusen, portrayed by Flula Borg. Gretchen Mol joins the series as Amanda Clark, a local politician whose stated opposition to organized crime places her in potential conflict with Dwight and his associates. Eden Lee also joins Season 4 in a recurring role as Maya, the Chief of Staff for the Governor of Oklahoma.
What to Expect in Season 4
Promotional images and trailer footage released ahead of the premiere raise questions about familiar characters. Quiet Ray Renzetti returns despite previously ordering attacks against Dwight and Russell Lee Washington at the end of Season 3. The new footage shows Ray and Dwight apparently working to maintain peace, leaving their relationship uncertain.
According to Paramount+, Season 4 finds Dwight fighting to protect his crew and legitimize his growing empire against a backdrop of corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and a crushing personal loss. Kevin Pollak, who plays FBI Special Agent Musso, previously described the new season as bringing “violence, death, and Sly,” warning viewers of major consequences following an unresolved federal liquor license debt.
Cast and Production Details
The core cast returns alongside Stallone, featuring Martin Starr, Jay Will, Frank Grillo, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, Annabella Sciorra, James Russo, and Neal McDonough. Terence Winter returns as head writer and executive producer, bringing back the creative direction from the show’s inaugural run alongside executive producer Taylor Sheridan.
The fourth season will consist of 10 episodes, kicking off with the premiere episode titled “W.W.D.D.” on October 16, followed by weekly releases on Paramount+. Behind the scenes, the network is already looking ahead. A writers’ room is currently open for a potential fifth season that could move production to New York, alongside development on the Samuel L. Jackson-led spin-off series, Frisco King.
