Professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, globally recognized by his ring names PAC and Adrian Neville, has passed away at the age of 40. His sudden death comes just one day after he competed in the opening match at All Elite Wrestling’s All Out pay-per-view event in the greater Chicago area.
All Elite Wrestling announced the tragic news on Sunday night. Neither AEW nor Satterley’s family have disclosed the cause of death or funeral arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Natalie Satterley, and his parents, Jill and Stephen Satterley.
A Storied Career Across Global Promotions
Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley started his professional wrestling journey in 2004. He built a strong reputation on the British independent circuit before showcasing his talents worldwide for notable promotions such as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Dragongate.
Satterley entered the global mainstream spotlight in 2012 when he signed with WWE. Performing under the ring name “Neville” and earning the nickname “The Man That Gravity Forgot” due to his breathtaking aerial maneuvers, he became a foundational star for WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, before joining the main roster in 2015. During his six-year tenure with WWE, he achieved:

- One-time NXT Champion
- Two-time NXT Tag Team Champion
After parting ways with WWE in 2018, Satterley returned to the independent scene and claimed a title in Japan’s Dragongate before becoming one of AEW’s earliest major signings in 2019.
