Netflix has officially confirmed that the hit romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This will return for its eagerly anticipated third season on October 22, 2026. Bringing back Kristen Bell as agnostic podcaster Joanne Williams and Adam Brody as rabbi Noah Roklov, the upcoming installment promises all 10 episodes dropping simultaneously, allowing fans to dive straight into the next chapter of the couple’s relationship.

Following the dramatic events of the second season, which held the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s English TV list with 18 million views in its first 11 days, Season 3 shifts the dynamic from a traditional “will-they-won’t-they” format to a deeply domestic reality. Executive producer and co-showrunner Jenni Konner described the overarching vibe of the new episodes as feeling like “Champagne,” focusing on the effervescent, lighthearted, yet grounded aspects of romance.

What to Expect from Joanne and Noah in Season 3

When the show returns this fall, viewers will find Joanne and Noah taking a major step forward by moving into a shared home together. According to executive producer Bruce Eric Kaplan, the creative team wanted to give the couple their moment to settle in and enjoy the day-to-day realities of building a life side by side.

However, moving in together does not mean the drama vanishes entirely. Creator and executive producer Erin Foster noted that the writers focused heavily on keeping the pair fun and flirty while navigating the fresh terrain of domestic life, career pressures, and class dynamics. Joanne is also continuing her personal exploration through an Intro to Judaism class, which introduces a new batch of characters into their immediate orbit.

Supporting Characters Face New Beginnings

The central romance is balanced out by major shifts in the lives of the supporting ensemble. Following their separation at the end of Season 2, Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) are thrust back into the modern dating scene in Los Angeles. While Sasha discovers unexpected momentum as a tall, employed single man, Esther navigates the awkwardness of dating apps and modern romance.

At the same time, Morgan’s (Justine Lupe) podcast career takes off in ways she never anticipated, creating a humorous sibling rivalry as Joanne settles into her stable relationship. Netflix has also teased an underlying tension and unspoken pull between Sasha and Morgan, complicating dynamics further given their familial ties to Noah and Joanne.

New Cast Additions and Episode Schedule

Season 3 brings an expanded cast featuring high-profile new additions. Andrew Rannells joins the recurring lineup as Sebastien, a rival Joanne meets in her conversion class. Keyla Monterroso Mejia plays classmate Amber, and Sarah Silverman joins as Rabbi Eden, their teacher. Additionally, Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig, and Steven Weber are slated for guest appearances, alongside a special cameo by series creator Erin Foster.

Netflix has released all 10 official episode titles for the upcoming season:

  • “It’s Perfect”
  • “Daddy’s Home”
  • “Housewarming”
  • “The Wedding Planners”
  • “Brian’s Wedding”
  • “I Jew”
  • “Heatwave”
  • “Last Christmas”
  • “May I Have This Dance?”
  • “Watch What Happens”

All 10 episodes will premiere globally on Netflix on October 22, 2026, at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET. Seasons 1 and 2 are currently streaming for fans looking to catch up before the big premiere.
