VIENNA, Ga. – A violent outbreak at a homecoming celebration in Vienna, Georgia, left two people dead and as many as 35 others injured early Sunday morning. According to Dooly County Coroner Brett Walls, the gunfire erupted at approximately 1:15 a.m. near the 600 block of Pine Street. The tragic incident claimed the lives of a 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man. Local officials confirmed that while the families have been notified, public identification of the deceased is being withheld pending the investigation. The bodies were transferred to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) for scheduled autopsies.
