Paramount+ is preparing for a massive wave of crime drama action, announcing that Tulsa King Season 4 will premiere on October 16, while simultaneously confirming that production on Season 5 has officially begun in New York City.
The hit series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, an old-school New York mafia capo navigating exile, expanding criminal enterprises, and high-stakes power struggles. As the franchise looks toward its newly announced fifth season, viewers are gearing up for major narrative shifts and fresh faces.
Tulsa King Season 4 Plot and Premiere Details
Heading into Season 4, Dwight Manfredi faces mounting pressures from every direction. According to official details from Paramount+, the upcoming episodes will follow Dwight as he attempts to protect his loyal crew and build a legitimate business empire. However, his efforts are threatened by dangerous new adversaries, corrupt politicians, and a devastating personal loss.
The official trailer teases a gritty return to form, with Dwight warning that “bad things are gonna happen to bad people.” Terence Winter, who served as the show’s Season 1 showrunner, returns as head writer and executive producer for Season 4. Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, and a robust production team continue to oversee the series.
The Season 4 cast features returning fan-favorites alongside notable new additions. Gretchen Mol joins the main cast as Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician who becomes entangled in Dwight’s widening battles. Eden Lee also joins the recurring cast as Maya, the Chief of Staff for the Governor of Oklahoma.
Season 5 Production Moves to New York City
In an unexpected shift, Paramount+ announced the early renewal of Tulsa King for Season 5 alongside the kickoff of filming on October 5, 2026. After shooting its first three seasons in Atlanta, the production has officially relocated to New York City.
The geographic change directly mirrors the Season 5 storyline, which pulls Dwight back toward his original New York mafia roots. Paramount Television Studios executive Drew Brown addressed the relocation, stating that the team is proud of the work accomplished in Georgia while emphasizing that New York is where Dwight Manfredi’s story will naturally continue to evolve.
Cast Changes and New Additions for Season 5
Alongside the move to the Big Apple, Season 5 brings significant updates to the call sheet. Scarlet Rose Stallone, who has played Spencer across the first four seasons, has been officially promoted to a series regular.
Additionally, four new actors are entering the fray as series regulars for the fifth outing:
- Erik Palladino (known for I Play Rocky)
- Glenn Fleshler (known for Billions)
- Anthony Skordi (known for The Last Frontier)
- Nickola Shreli (known for Power Book IV: Force)
While an official premiere date for Season 5 has not yet been announced, fans can catch up on all 29 episodes from the first three seasons currently streaming on Paramount+ before Season 4 launches on October 16.
