MobLand Season 2 Episode 4 Deepens Harrigan Family War

October 9, 2026 3 min read 0 comments

The internal conflict within the Harrigan criminal empire reaches a dangerous boiling point in MobLand Season 2 Episode 4, titled “Blank Curtain.” Released on October 9, 2026, on Paramount+, the episode follows Conrad Harrigan as he wages open warfare following a devastating series of attacks. Meanwhile, fixer Harry Da Souza navigates rapidly expanding cracks within the family and law enforcement.

In the aftermath of Frankie Cooper’s remote-detonated helmet bomb-which destroyed the Harrigans’ office and killed Dog-the family struggles to contain the fallout. While Harry and a corrupt detective, Finch, attempt to disguise the yard explosion as a conventional gas leak, DCI Kavanagh begins closing the net after discovering tampered ballistics evidence from a previous shooting.

Conrad’s Rage and the Escalation of Violence

Conrad Harrigan is furious after enduring multiple blows to his empire, including Frankie Cooper destroying his warehouse, Kat MacAllister financing efforts to destabilize him, and his son Kevin acting impulsively behind his back. Conrad openly blames himself for allowing Harry to leave Kevin in charge during a high-stakes meeting, expressing deep regret over that decision.

The rift between Conrad’s old-school brutality and Harry’s tactical patience widens significantly. Conrad demands that Harry choose a side between him and Kevin. Rejecting internal division, Harry urges for calm, but Conrad takes matters into his own hands. Storming one of Frankie’s properties alongside Paul, Conrad slaughters several of Frankie’s men, takes a captive, and declares all-out war.

Meanwhile, personal tensions swell at home. Bella, traumatized by her recent abduction, sharply criticizes Kevin for pulling a gun on Frankie while she was still held hostage. She argues that his rashness could have easily cost her life and suggests Kevin is entirely unequipped to manage the Harrigan empire.

Harry Eliminates the Liability of Finch

Realizing that DCI Kavanagh has cut Finch out of the loop and discovered his evidence tampering, Harry acts decisively to protect the family. To test the waters, Harry stages a daylight jewelry store robbery in Hatton Gardens, intentionally leaving behind a vehicle linked to the Harrigans. When Kavanagh bypasses Finch entirely, Harry recognizes that the detective has become a fatal liability.

Harry lures Finch to a remote wooded area under the guise of discussing protection for his family. When Finch attempts to bluff by claiming his wife holds a damaging file on the Harrigans, Harry calls his bluff. Finding no file exists, Harry executes Finch, effectively severing the bridge between the police force and the criminal syndicate.

Secret Alliances and a Mysterious Trip to Ireland

Betrayals continue to surface as Harry confronts Seraphina about her alliance with Kat MacAllister. Seraphina confesses that Brendan’s death convinced her Conrad’s leadership would eventually get her killed. Rather than executing her, Harry turns her into a double agent, instructing her to act as a mole inside Kat’s camp.

Elsewhere, Maeve Harrigan sets her own mysterious agenda in motion. She orders Eddie and Gina to travel to County Kerry, Ireland, on a quest she refuses to explain, though she notes it will become clear in time. Before their departure, Conrad shares insight into Harry’s origins with Gina, reflecting on his unshakeable loyalty.

The episode closes on an ominous note. Just as Harry issues an ultimatum to Kevin and Conrad demanding a truce, he receives a graphic and troubling video from Frankie, proving that the enemy has penetrated the family’s most private circles. As the civil war intensifies, the question remains whether the Harrigans can survive their own internal destruction.
