The Miz Sells Renovated California Homes Below Asking Prices

October 12, 2026 3 min read 0 comments

WWE star Mike Mizanin, widely known as The Miz, and his wife, Maryse Mizanin, have completed the sale of their luxury Westlake Village, California, mansion for $7.4 million. This transaction highlights a growing trend among celebrity real estate dealings where heavily renovated properties ultimately command final sale values significantly below their initial ambitious asking prices.

According to public records and reports from outlets such as Variety, Celebrity Net Worth, and TMZ, the couple originally purchased the expansive 10,400-square-foot English manor-style estate in 2019 for $6.4 million. During their ownership, they invested heavily in substantial renovations and custom upgrades. The striking property was prominently featured on their USA Network reality television series, Miz & Mrs.

The Long Road to Closing in Westlake Village

The journey to offload the North Ranch Country Club Estates property required patience. In January 2022, the property was initially thought to be worth up to $12.5 million. By September 2024, as the family prepared for a relocation to Las Vegas, the estate officially hit the market with an asking price of $11.995 million.

After sitting on the market for an extended period, the listing was managed by realtor Jordan Cohen of RE/MAX. The home finally secured a buyer who closed the deal in less than a week at the final price of $7.4 million.

Property Features and Amenities

  • 10,400 square feet of luxury living space
  • Set on 1.27 private acres behind exclusive guard gates
  • Unobstructed views of local mountains and the adjacent golf course
  • Custom-built swimming pool with a spa and expansive rose gardens
  • Interior highlights including a private home theater and an epic glass-enclosed wine cellar
  • Two separate detached guest houses

While the $7.4 million final price represents a $1 million gross increase over their 2019 purchase price, real estate analysts note that factoring in extensive renovation costs, property taxes, insurance, and routine maintenance over the years means the couple likely broke even or took a financial loss on the transaction.

Past California Real Estate Transactions

The Westlake Village sale echoes a similar pattern from the couple’s past real estate portfolio. In 2019, The Miz and Maryse sold their former Hollywood Hills residence for just over $3 million. That property had been purchased in 2012 for $1.865 million and underwent major expansion and modernization before being listed at $3.65 million.

Despite accepting figures well below their peak asking price expectations, the successful Westlake Village closing marks a clean slate for the Mizanin family as they officially transition out of California real estate and embrace their next chapter in Las Vegas.
