Professional wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known globally by his ring name PAC, has died at the age of 40, All Elite Wrestling announced on Sunday night. His sudden passing occurred just one day after he competed at AEW’s “All Out” pay-per-view event at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, just outside Chicago. Official sources have not immediately released a cause of death.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the promotion said in an official statement. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.”
Satterley built an international reputation starting on the British independent circuit before scaling major global promotions. His extensive career included stints with All Elite Wrestling, World Wrestling Entertainment-where he wrestled under the name Adrian Neville-New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. Because of his muscular frame and breathtaking aerial maneuvers, fans and peers affectionately nicknamed him “The Man That Gravity Forgot.”
After joining AEW as one of its earliest major signees in 2019, Satterley cemented his legacy as a multi-time champion. He captured the promotion’s inaugural All-Atlantic Championship in 2022 and earned World Trios Championships as a core member of prominent factions like Death Triangle and the Death Riders.
