Two lottery players in Ohio are waking up significantly richer after winning a combined $150,000 in the Saturday night Powerball drawing. State lottery officials confirmed that the winning slips included one worth $100,000 and another valued at $50,000.
Details of the Winning Ohio Tickets
The larger prize-winning ticket, worth $100,000, was purchased at the East End Express of Hubbard, located in Hubbard, Ohio. This player matched four of the five white-ball numbers alongside the Powerball. By opting for the PowerPlay feature, the 2x multiplier doubled their initial prize.
The second winning ticket yielded a $50,000 prize. This ticket also matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball without the PowerPlay multiplier. As of Sunday, state lottery officials had not yet disclosed the specific retail location where the second ticket was sold.
Saturday Night Winning Numbers
The numbers drawn during the Saturday night Powerball event were:
- White Balls: 1, 4, 19, 33, and 51
- Powerball: 15
- PowerPlay Multiplier: 2x
Players who purchased tickets in Ohio and across the country should check their slips carefully. Even without hitting the grand jackpot, secondary tier prizes range from $4 to hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on matching combinations and multipliers.
